BOOKINGS CONFIRMATION & RETAINERS
A booking is confirmed only after both a signed Service Agreement and the required non-refundable deposit are received within 48 hours of invoice issuance.
Deposits are as follows:
Bridal Session (Wedding Day Only)
50% of the total service amount based on the number of individuals receiving makeup services.
Signature Bridal + Trial Package
50% of the total wedding day service amount. The trial appointment is scheduled separately and confirmed based on availability.

Beauty / Glam Session

SFX Makeup
$100
Bridal and Signature pricing is determined after reviewing the details submitted with your request.
A custom invoice reflecting the required deposit will be issued to secure your date.
Dates are not held without a signed contract and deposit.

TRAVEL CONSIDERATIONS — SEDONA AREA
Complimentary travel is included for services performed within Sedona Proper.
Appointments located in Uptown Sedona or outside Sedona Proper, including the Village of Oak Creek and surrounding areas, may incur additional travel fees.
While mileage to these locations may be minimal, seasonal traffic and congestion can significantly extend travel time. Travel fees are based on time, distance, and scheduling considerations.
Any applicable travel fees will be clearly communicated prior to confirming your booking to ensure full transparency.

LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bridal Sessions booked within 30 days of the event require full payment at the time of booking.
This payment is non-refundable and secures the requested date and services.

FINAL PAYMENT
For Bridal Sessions, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date and becomes non-refundable at that time.
For all other services, full payment is due prior to the appointment and before services are rendered.
Failure to meet payment or contract requirements may result in cancellation of services, with retainers forfeited.

TRIALS & CONSULTATIONS
Makeup trials are offered for the intent of bridal bookings.
Trials do not reserve or hold a wedding date. Wedding dates are secured only once a Bridal Session contract and retainer are received.
Additional consultations may be scheduled for bridal party members (such as bridesmaids, mothers, or grandmothers). When possible, these should be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s trial to avoid additional travel fees.

CHANGES, REVISIONS & CHANGE ORDERS
Once services, headcount, and timelines are confirmed and the agreement is executed, client-requested changes requiring administrative rework, including updated invoices, revised timelines, contract adjustments, or coordination, will incur a Change Order Fee.
Change Order Fee Schedule:
• First change request after booking confirmation → $50
• Each additional change request → $25
Services may be added if time allows.
Services may not be reduced after booking confirmation. The contracted total remains unchanged once the agreement has been executed.
Change Order Fees are due upon issuance of an updated invoice.

EARLY START TIMES
Appointments requiring a confirmed start time before 7:00 AM (Arizona Time) are subject to a $250 Early Start Fee.
Early Start Fees account for extended preparation, travel, and off-hour scheduling and will be added to the invoice once the timeline is confirmed. Early Start Fees are non-refundable.
EARLY START + OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
If the service location and start time require overnight travel in order to meet the confirmed schedule, client agrees to cover reasonable overnight accommodations as determined by the artist. Lodging requirements will be discussed and confirmed prior to finalizing the booking.

SERVICE LOCATION & SETUP
Makeup services are performed at the location provided by the client. Clients must supply:

A clean, usable table or surface

A trash can
-
An electrical outlet
-
Adequate natural or artificial lighting
For hotel bookings, the hotel name and room number must be provided in advance.

TOUCH-UP SERVICES
Touch-up services are not included unless specifically reserved in advance.
Reserved touch-up time is billed at an hourly rate of $100.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum
and must be scheduled at the time of booking.
Requests for additional touch-up services made on the day of the event are subject to availability and the artist’s schedule. If time permits, these services will be billed at the same hourly rate and must be paid immediately prior to service being rendered.
If touch-up services require the artist to return to the location after departure, additional travel fees may apply.

CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
Clients must arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
Services not included in the signed contract total, including day-of additions, are subject to availability and must be paid in full prior to being performed.

DELAYS & LATE ARRIVALS
Delays caused by the client or bridal party that extend beyond the agreed start time may incur a late fee of $50 per 30-minute interval.
Late fees are due immediately and must be paid before services continue.

DAY-OF ADDITIONS
Any services not included in the signed contract, such as strip lashes, tattoo coverups, or additional makeup applications (if time allows), will be priced at Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry’s discretion.
All add-ons must be paid in full prior to services being rendered.

PARKING & TRAVEL
Travel within Sedona city limits is complimentary.
Travel outside Sedona may incur additional fees based on distance, time of day, holidays, weather, and other relevant factors. These fees will be discussed prior to the event.
Any valet, toll, or parking fees incurred are the responsibility of the client and are due on the day of service.

LIABILITY & HEALTH
All tools and products are sanitized prior to each use.
Clients must disclose any skin conditions, sensitivities, or allergies before services begin. Patch testing is available upon request.
By accepting services, clients release Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry from liability for skin reactions or sensitivities.
Brow tweezing and razor services are not offered.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations affect availability for other clients and should be made as early as possible.
For Bridal Sessions:

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event forfeit the initial retainer only

Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable in full
Cancellations must be submitted via email and are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing.
Changes to event dates or locations are subject to availability.

ARTIST CANCELLATION
In the rare event Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry is unable to perform services due to illness or emergency, all payments made toward services not rendered will be refunded. Liability is limited to the return of payments received.

FAIR FEEDBACK & SERVICE RESOLUTION
Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry is committed to client satisfaction and encourages open communication. Any concerns or desired adjustments should be communicated during the service appointment so they may be addressed in real time. Approval of the final look at the conclusion of the service indicates satisfaction with the services provided.
