BOOKINGS CONFIRMATION & DEPOSITS
All makeup services require a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total quoted service amount.
Abby prepares a personalized quote after discussing the client’s needs, requested services, number of people receiving makeup, time required, location, and scheduling requirements. The invoice will identify the agreed services, applicable fees, total amount, and required payment.
A booking is confirmed only after both the signed Service Agreement and required payment are received within 48 hours of invoice issuance. Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not reserve or hold a date.
For bookings made within 30 days of the event or appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking.
For the Signature Bridal + Trial Package, the deposit is 50% of the total quoted package service amount. The trial appointment is scheduled separately, subject to availability.
A standalone bridal makeup trial reserves only the trial appointment. It does not reserve or hold the wedding date.

TRAVEL & PARKING
Travel within Sedona Proper is complimentary, subject to the Uptown Sedona exception below.
Uptown Sedona appointments may incur an additional travel fee based on the time of year, anticipated traffic congestion, travel time, parking availability, and scheduling requirements. This fee may apply even when the travel distance is short.
Travel outside Sedona Proper is billed at $1.00 per mile. The personalized quote will specify the mileage calculation and applicable travel charges.
Travel fees will be disclosed before booking confirmation. If the client later changes the service location or schedule, any resulting travel charges will be communicated before the change is accepted.
Any valet, toll, or parking charges incurred for the appointment are the client’s responsibility.

LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS
All makeup services booked within 30 days of the event or appointment require full payment at the time of booking.
This payment is non-refundable and, together with the signed Service Agreement, secures the agreed date and services.

FINAL PAYMENT
For Bridal Sessions, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date and becomes non-refundable at that time.
For all other services, full payment is due prior to the appointment and before services are rendered.
Failure to meet payment or contract requirements may result in cancellation of services, with retainers forfeited.

TRIALS & CONSULTATIONS
Makeup trials are offered for the intent of bridal bookings.
Trials do not reserve or hold a wedding date. Wedding dates are secured only once a Bridal Session contract and retainer are received.
Additional consultations may be scheduled for bridal party members (such as bridesmaids, mothers, or grandmothers). When possible, these should be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s trial to avoid additional travel fees.

CHANGES, REVISIONS & CHANGE ORDERS
Once the initial booking details are finalized and the booking is confirmed, every client-requested change incurs a Change Order Fee. This includes changes to services, headcount, dates, times, locations, or other agreed booking details.
Change Order Fees:
• First change request after booking confirmation → $50
• Each additional change request → $25
Change Order Fees are separate from any additional service, travel, or other charges resulting from the requested change.
All changes are subject to Abby’s availability and approval. Additional services may be added if time allows. Reducing the number of services does not reduce the contracted total.
Any applicable fees will be communicated before the requested change is accepted. Change Order Fees are due upon issuance of the updated invoice.

EARLY START TIMES
Appointments requiring a confirmed start time before 7:00 AM (Arizona Time) are subject to a $250 Early Start Fee.
This fee covers additional preparation, travel, and scheduling outside standard hours. It will be disclosed in the quote and included on the invoice before booking confirmation. Early Start Fees are non-refundable.
If a client requests a schedule change after booking confirmation that requires a start time before 7:00 AM, the Early Start Fee applies in addition to the applicable Change Order Fee. Any additional charges will be communicated before the change is accepted.
EARLY START + OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
If the service location and start time require overnight travel to meet the agreed schedule, the client is responsible for reasonable overnight accommodations. Any lodging requirements and associated costs will be discussed and agreed upon before booking confirmation or acceptance of a requested change.

SERVICE LOCATION & SETUP
Makeup services are performed at the location agreed upon during booking. Clients must provide:
• A clean, usable table or work surface
• A trash can
• Access to an electrical outlet
• Adequate natural or artificial lighting
The getting-ready location and full address must be provided before booking confirmation. For hotel appointments, provide the hotel name and address during booking and the room number as soon as it becomes available, before Abby’s arrival.
Changes to the confirmed service location are subject to Abby’s availability and approval, the applicable Change Order Fee, and any additional travel or parking charges. Additional charges will be communicated before the change is accepted.

TOUCH-UP SERVICES
Touch-up services are not included unless specifically listed in the agreed booking.
Reserved touch-up services are billed at $100 per hour, with a one-hour minimum, and must be scheduled at the time of booking.
Requests to add touch-up services after booking confirmation are subject to availability and the applicable Change Order Fee, in addition to the touch-up service charges.
Day-of requests are subject to Abby’s availability and schedule. The agreed charges must be paid before additional touch-up services begin.
If touch-up services require Abby to return after leaving the location, additional travel and parking charges may apply. All additional charges will be communicated before the client agrees to the service.

CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
Clients must be ready at the agreed start time with a clean, makeup-free face. Each person receiving makeup must be available according to the confirmed service timeline.
Clients must disclose any skin conditions, sensitivities, or allergies before services begin.
Please communicate preferences and request any desired adjustments during the appointment so Abby can address them before completing the service.
Services not included in the confirmed booking are subject to availability, additional service charges, and the applicable Change Order Fee. All additional charges will be communicated and must be paid before the additional services are performed.

DELAYS & LATE ARRIVALS
Clients and bridal party members must be ready at their scheduled start times.
Client or bridal-party delays extending beyond the agreed start time may incur a late fee of $50 per 30-minute interval. Any applicable late fee will be communicated and is due before services continue.
Delays may limit the time available to complete the scheduled services. Additional time is subject to Abby’s availability and cannot be guaranteed.
A late fee does not replace any applicable Change Order Fee for a requested change to the confirmed booking.

DAY-OF ADDITIONS
Services requested on the day of the appointment that are not included in the confirmed booking are subject to Abby’s availability and approval.
Examples include strip lashes, tattoo cover-ups, additional makeup applications, and touch-up services.
Approved additions incur the applicable service charges and Change Order Fee. Touch-up services are billed according to the Touch-Up Services section.
Abby will explain all additional charges before the client agrees to the services. Payment is required in full before the additional services are performed.

LIABILITY & HEALTH
Tools and products are sanitized before each use.
Clients must disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, sensitivities, or recent treatments that may affect makeup application before services begin. Patch testing is available upon request.
Skin reactions may occur even when appropriate precautions are taken. Clients should immediately notify Abby of any discomfort or irritation during the service so the application can be paused.
Brow tweezing and razor services are not offered.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations affect availability for other clients and should be communicated as early as possible.
The 50% booking deposit for every service is non-refundable.
For cancellations received more than 30 days before the scheduled event or appointment, the deposit is forfeited. Any payments received beyond the deposit will be refunded.
For cancellations received 30 days or fewer before the scheduled event or appointment, all payments already received are non-refundable.
No additional unpaid balance will be collected following cancellation. If only the deposit has been paid, only that deposit is forfeited.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email. Abby will acknowledge receipt in writing. The date the cancellation email is received determines the applicable cancellation period.
Requests to change an event or appointment date are subject to availability and the Changes, Revisions & Change Orders policy.

ARTIST CANCELLATION
If Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry must cancel an appointment due to illness, emergency, or another circumstance preventing service, all payments received for services that will not be performed will be refunded, including the deposit.
For packages where some services have already been completed, the refund will cover only the canceled, unperformed services.
No additional unpaid balance will be collected for services canceled by Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry.

FAIR FEEDBACK & SERVICE RESOLUTION
Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry welcomes honest feedback and encourages open communication.
Please communicate any concerns or desired adjustments during the appointment so Abby has an opportunity to address them before the service is completed.
If a concern arises after the appointment, please contact Abby by email with the details so it can be reviewed and an appropriate response discussed.
Clients remain free to share honest reviews about their experience. Approval of the finished look does not waive the right to raise a concern or provide honest feedback.
